OLD BUSINESS

Proposed Text Amendment – Section 6.14 – Home Occupations

John Lowe opened the call to the public.

Nora Hretz, 2853 Dutcher Road; she has concerns that the language of Section 6.14 item C is disingenuous and there are many activities that could create conditions that would constitute a nuisance to neighboring property owners.  Both she and the person she shares a home with work out of the home and she does not want the proposed language to have a negative affect on their home based occupations.

The Planning Commission clarified the intent of the language.  No one thought it would have a negative effect on the current home occupations.

John Lowe closed the call to the public.

John Lowe asked the Planning Commission if they had any comments.

Jean Root noted on page 1 of 7 item I; at the last meeting the Planning Commission asked that firearms sales be deleted from the sentence.  Also on page 5 of 7 item C; this language is confusing.

The Planning Commission members agreed that item C should read:  The Planning Commission may require additional information if it determines the character of the project, site or surrounding conditions necessitates further investigation, allowing it to make a sound decision on the application.

NEW BUSINESS:

No new business
